Leaf Guard

Leaf guard / Leaf screen can help to keep leaf matter out of guttering as well as help to stop birds gaining access inside a roof.

 

There are many types of leaf guards available.

 

The best system is where the mesh material/screen covers the last row of roof tiles. Then the mesh comes out to the top front edge of the guttering and is screwed in place with a colorbond trim.

 

This way the leaf screen is on the same angle as the roof without sitting or dipping in the gutter.
